It was field day not just for members of the election commission but for actors and actress as well.
Each one of them came out and cast their votes in the Tamilnadu Assembly election.
Several lauded the EC for having done a neat job so far.
Actor and Nadigar Sangam general secretary Vishal who after exercising his franchise at a polling booth in Anna Nagar, said, ‘I congratulate Chief Electoral Officer Rajesh Lakhoni for his efforts to fight corrupt practices in elections.’
He said, ‘I urge EC to give away the money seized for the cause of educating poor children’ and added, ‘People expect a lot from their next government and I sincerely hope that they would live upto it’.
