Actor Vishnu Vishal not just plays the lead in Velainu Vandhuta Vellaikaran.
He also produces the same. The movie directed by Ezhil is releasinng 3 June.
Says Vishnu Vishal, ‘I really liked the script and signed up to act in it, but there came a time when the film faced a production delay.
Director Ezhil wondered if he should pitch the idea somewhere else, but I really wanted to be a part of this film, and decided to produce it.’
He adds, ‘I was doubtful during the first three-four days of shooting if I would be able to pull this off.
After that, I got into the groove. But, this film has made me a more confident actor.
It has taught me that I can work outside of my comfort zone.
It’s almost like someone has broken the shell I’d created around myself.’
Nikki Galrani plays the female lead.
Soori plays the comedian.
Aadukalam Naren, Robo Shankar, Sonia, Vaiyapuri and Rajendran are also in the cast.
Besides directing, Ezhil has penned the story, screenplay and dialogues for the movie.
Cinematographer Shakthi has handled the cinematography while Ananda Lingakumar takes care of the film’s editing.
