We were the first to say long back that actor Arya and filmmaker Ameer would be coming together for a project. And adding more spice to the news is that it would be a rural flick.
The film, said to be on the lines of Ameer’s Paruthiveeran, is likely to be titled as Santhana Thevan.
It’s worth noting that there is a yesteryear film in the same title which released back in 1939 starring MR Radha.
Yuvan Shankar Raja will be handling the music.
Interestingly both Ameer and Arya are running through a lean patch in the industry and are desperate for a hit.
