There were talks that Jayam Ravi starrer Thani Oruvan will have a remake. However, the lead character of the movie has denied this and say that the director, Mohan Raja and himself presently have prior commitments.
Says Jayam Ravi, ‘One year has passed by since the release of Thani Oruvan. The congratulatory messages and bags of praises have not stopped yet. Big thanks to Mohan Raja for all his efforts’.
‘Though the talks of a sequel to Thani Oruvan is on, the timing factor is unclear, largely due to the fact that both me and Mohan Raja are busy with our other commitments.’
Directed by Mohan Raja, the movie featured Ravi, Nayanthara and Arvind Swami in key roles. Produced by AGS, it had music by Hip Hop Tamizha Aadhi.
Thani Oruvan has been remade in Telugu with Ram Charan Teja of Magadheera fame and the film is all set for release soon.
