Vikram starrer Iru Mugan has been given a UA and the film will hit the screens on 8 September.
The movie is produced by Shibu Thameens and directed by Anand Shankar. Music is by Harris Jayaraj.
Said to be an espionage thriller, the movie has Vikram play dual roles.
He will the act of an RAW agent on a mission that takes him to Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and finally to Kashmir.
Apart from this he will also be playing a transgender villain.
Nayanthara and Nithya Menon will be seen playing the two female leads.
Nayanthara will be seen playing an undercover secret agent in this mystery thriller.
