As part of National National Sports Day, Amma Sports Foundation conducted the event at Madras University to honor the achievers and deserving sports persons.
Viswanathan Anand, P T Usha, Vasudev Bhaskaran and Kris Srikanth were the special invitees.
Interestingly a galaxy of film personalities were seen on the occasion.
They include Nadigar Sangam president Nasser, actor Prasanna, actress Nayanthara, Sneha among others attended the same.
Interestingly Nayanthara who rarely appears for public functions had charged nothing for the event.
