The shoot of Dhanush’s directorial venture Power Paandi has now moved to Theni. The crew which was filming some portions in Chennai had wrapped up the schedule here.
Power Paandi stars Rajkiran in the lead, while Prasanna and Chaya Singh will be seen in supporting roles.
The flick is bankrolled by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films. Music will be by Sean Roldon and camera by Velraj. Power Paandi revolves around the lives of stuntmen.
The upcoming film has director Gautham Vasudev Menon playing a special cameo. Apart from directing, Dhanush will also be playing an extended cameo.
Sources say he will play a younger version of Rajkiran, who is the protagonist.
Meanwhile, director Selvaraghavan who saw the rushes of the movie was all praises for his brother, Dhanush.
He tweeted, ‘Saw the rushes of #powerpaandi &blown away. So funny,magical &touchy. Proud of you @dhanushkraja and Rajkiran sir,you are simply superb.’
