After veteran artiste Sripriya Rajkumar and Ranjani criticised Khushbu for manhandled a contestant by grabbing his shirt and shouting at him in a reality show in a Tamil channel.
Actress, politician and TV host, Khushbu has lashed out on them. She put a series of tweets explaining her stand and why nobody bothers when an injustice is meet to women and children.
She says, ‘I didn’t see anyone crowning me when I spoke about women issues, child welfare, LGBT, equal rights, education, helping the needy, working during floods. I don’t see the necessity to put-forth my views for those few ‘fistful’ learned and enlightened souls. I know what I am doing. So they can go for a long walk.’
She went on to say,’ So called intellects don’t even realise that I don’t give judgement. We have legal experts, doctors, counsellors and activists from different fields to do tat.
You criticise, throw brickbats or bouquets, the whole thing is that ke bhaiyya you watch my show. It takes all kinds of people to make this world. I think I am done with my answer to the lesser known intellect souls. My respect remains the same. Will not say anything more. They can continue.’
