After two movies from the same franchisee, the third flick in the Singam series undergoes a name change. Initially titled S3, it will henceforth be know as C3.
The makers have stated that they opted for this change as they will be eligible for tax exemption from the Taminadu government.
Apart from this, the team would be visiting theatres in the Tamilnadu and Kerala ahead of the release to promote the flick.
Directed by Hari, C3 has Suriya playing the role of a tough cop. Anushka Shetty, Shruti Haasan play the female leads. Thakur Anoop Singh and Soori play key roles.
Music is by Harris Jayaraj. Cinematography is by Priyan. Produced by Gnanavelraja’s Studio Green, C3 will hit the screens on 26 January in Tamil and Telugu.
