It may be recalled that we reported about Hip-hop singer and composer Yogi B lending his voice for a peppy number in Thala Ajith’s upcoming flick, tentatively titled AK 57.
Now, the buzz is that the song will be a unique number. Says Yogi B, ‘Yes, we have tried a fusion of EDM and Hiphop in the particular song and Anirudh has amazingly programmed it.’
Sources say Yogi B is likely to perform this song at Anirudh’s Singapore concert.
Directed by Siva of Veeram and Vedalam fame, the flick has Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan play the female lead. Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi plays the villain.
The team is likley to start shooting in Chennai. Sources say almost 25 per cent of the film has been wrapped up. Sathya Jyothi Films is bankrolling the project.
Said to be an urban-centric movie, Siruthai Siva has also penned the story. AK57 is slated for 2017 summer.
