Mani Ratnam’s upcoming movie Kaatru Veliyidai is all set to hit the screens on 7 April. The movie will be out in both Tamil and Telugu.
Meanwhile, a short 50-second video of the movie ‘A glimpse of Kaatru Veliyidai’, managed to grap lots of attention. A single from the flick will be released on 2 February. The audio rights have been acquired by Sony Music.
Starring Karthi and Bollywood actress Aditi Rao Hydari in lead roles, Kaatru Veliyidai is produced by Madras Talkies banner. It has music by A R Rahman. The movie would be released by Sri Thenandal Films in March.
A romantic entertainer, a portion of the movie was shot in Serbia and some picturesque locations in Europe. Karthi plays an NRI pilot, while Bollywood actress Aditi will don the role of a doctor.
RJ Balaji, Delhi Ganesh, Rukmini Vijayakumar, Shraddha Srinath, Vipin Sharma and K P A C Lalitha will be seen in pivotal roles. Kaatru Veliyidai is also to be dubbed and released in Telugu.
