Jayam Ravi who is banking on the success of his recent release Bogan, is all set to start his next with director Sundar C. Titled Sangamithra, the movie is to go on floors this June.
Sharing about the movie, Jayam Ravi says that the film will be ‘vera level’ and considering the period genre and humongous budget, we can surely expect it to be so.
To be produced by Sri Thenandal Films it will have Arya and Jayam Ravi in the lead. The movie which is done at a huge budget it to be shot for over an year. Tentatively titled Sangamithra, the movie is being made at budget of Rs 350 crores.
Both the stars are preparing for the role by undergoing horse riding and sword fighting training. The two are likely to have Bollywood heroines as their heroines.
A R Rahman will be crooning the music for this flick and Sudeep Chatterjee of Chak De! India and Guzaarish fame will be handling the cinematography.
Meanwhile, Jayam Ravi is also working on director Vijay’s Vanamagan and Shakthi Soundarrajan’s Tik Tik Tik in the pipeline.
