After Thani Oruvan, actor Aravindsamy will be playing the lead in a Malayalam movie.
With his Tamil movies in late 1990s dubbed and released in Hindi, he is a known face in Hindi cinema too.
He will act in the Hindi remake of the cult Marathi film Kaksparsh about a Brahmin family and what befalls them between 1930 and 1950.
After a brief interval, he was back in Tamil films with Mani Ratnam film Kadal. In his Hindi venture he will play the principal protagonist (played by Sachin Khedekar in the Marathi version).
