Veteran actor Karthik, who was admitted to a private hospital after he developed uneasiness late yesterday, is recovering well. Doctors are attending to him.
He is the son of veteran actor R Muthuraman. He was first introduced by Bharathiraja in the film Alaigal Oivathillai. He has primarily appeared in lead roles in Tamil films.
Karthik has won four Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Tamil. He is also the recipient of Tamil Nadu State Film Awards and a Nandi Award.
Interstingly he last shared screen with Dhanush with Anegan. He is currently busy doing a sequel to his yesteryear hit Amaran.
