Joining the list of artistes who have donated for the cause of flood relief to be donated to Chief Minister’s Relief through Nadigar Sangam is Sivakarthikeyan.
The actor has donated a sum of Rs 5 lakh and the cheque to this effect was handed over to association president Nasser.
Actor Vikram Prabhu donated Rs 5 lakh, actor Sathyaraj along with his donated gave away Rs 2.25 lakh.
Among others who donated for the cause include veteran actor Sivakumar and his sons Suriya, Karthi ( a sum of Rs 25 lakh), Vishal (Rs 10 lakh) and actor Dhanush (Rs 5 lakh). The fan club members of Vishal have been carrying out relief works in various parts of the state which suffered most damage.
Earlier the Nadigar Sangam organised to send materials including rice, pulses, oil for those residing in low-lying areas in Cuddalore.
