Actor Mammootty is no newcomer to Tamil cinema. The versatile actor and winner of many awards and accolades had set the screen with many stupendous perfromance in Tamil.
Now after half-a-decade years, he is back to do a direct Tamil film. Mammootty will be part of director Ram of Kattathu Tamizh and Thanga Meenkal fame and the film is titled Peranbu.
To be produced by P L Thenappan, the film will have Anjali and Thanga Meenkal Sadhana in important roles and Yuvan Shankar Raja will e composing the music.
Shooting for Peranbu will commence on January 6 in Kodaikanal. Meanwhile Ram has completed Tharamani and it would be out soon.
