An announcement was made by Bollywood filmmaker that Shoojit Sircar recently that he found a script so compelling that we wanted to make a movie.
He was more than happy when Amitabh Bachchan too approved of it and decided to star init.
And now yet another name has been added to the star cast – Taapsee Pannu.
The movie will be helmed by the National Award-winning Bengali director, Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury (who acted in Shoojit’s Piku!). Shoojit was contacted to find out if Taapsee is indeed part of the project, he replied, ‘Yes’.
The film, which is yet to be titled, revolves around a social cause and will be entirely shot in Delhi. Taapsee is playing a Delhi girl.
