‘I am happy that I am getting versatile roles’, says actress Sri Priyanka.
The actress who donned the role of an adorable sister in Kangaroo, won the appreciation of critics for her performance in films including Vandha Malai and Kodaimazhai.
Says Priyanka, ‘I love playing a rural girl and when director Kadhiravan approached me, I readily agreed to do it.’
Flooded with congratulatory messages for her show in Kodaimazhai, she says ‘I just what what Kathiravan sir asked me to do on screen. It came quite naturally’.
Whoever watched Kodaimazhai appreciated me for my emotional show. I am happy and thrilled at the positive response, she adds.
Thanking director Saami for bringing out the actress in her, Priyanka states that she is ready to work in his movie again. ‘I am waiting for his call’, she adds.
Ask her what is her strength, she replies, ‘I think people like my smile. Many expressed it to me’.
Priyanka wants to do a bubbly young girl’s role. She says, ‘I want to play a talkative heroine and I love comical entertainers. Wish I get to be part of a light-scripted script’.
