Popular anchor turned actor Ma Ka Pa Anand is all set of his next movie. Titled Manik, the name is an inspiration from Rajinikanth starrer Baasha.
Written and directed by Palani Kumar. Music is by Dharan.
‘Anand plays a bachelor and his journey towards a goal forms the crux of the fantasy subject, which has been narrated in an interesting manner,’ the director says.
The movie would feature Ethir Neechal fame Suza Kumar as heroine.
Model-turned-actress Suza started her career in a role with grey shades in Sivakarthikeyan’s Ethirneechal.
Later, she was seen in a blink-and-you-miss-it role in Ajith’s Veeram.
Maanik shooting already started with the grand pooja.
