Kabali is one word that is on everyone’s lips as it has created much expectation among the masses.
Recently a certain section of the media reported that the lead cast in the movie, Rajinikath, has taken ill. This was later proven rumour by the actor’s publicist.
Meanwhile, producer of Kabali, Kalaipuli S Thanu is all praises for this actors and director. He said, ‘Rajinikanth is mightily thrilled with the recent teaser of the movie and said a big thank you to the cast and crew’.
Speaking to a television channel, Thanu said, ‘Rajinikanth spoke me to me over phone from America. He said the teaser had come out really good and that he is mighty happy.
The president of the Tamil Film Producers Council, said, ‘Rajinikanth wanted me to convey a big thanks to the cast and crew of the movie for all their efforts’.
When asked about the rumours about his health, Thanu, said, ‘He had been to the US to take some rest and also be part of pre-production works of 2.0, being directed by Shankar. He is hale and hearty’.
His daughters (Soundarya and Aishwarya) too spoke with me and we laughed at the rumours being spread about Rajini’.
Directed by Pa Ranjith, Kabali has Radhika Apte opposite Rajinikanth. The cast includes Dhanshikaa, Kalaiarasan, Dinesh, John Vijay, Kishore among others. Music is by Santosh Narayanan.
Rajini plays an ageing international don in the movie.
The movie would be out in the middle of July in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malay.
