It is not often that one gets a special tribute in movies. Now here is a movie that is offering tribute to popular actor Kalabhavan Mani, who died recently.
The actor last acted in Pudhusa Naan Porandhen. It was his last in K’town. This movie was produced by Sahara Entertainment and directed by Majidh Abu. It featured him in the role of a police officer.
Stating that his sudden demise, the director has said that Pudhusa Naan Porandhen will be a tribute to the actor.
Speaking about the film, the director, said, ‘The movie stars Piyon and Kalyani Nair. We shot several scenes involving Kalabhavan Mani in Kodaikanal. In spite of his ill health, he gave us full co-operation and completed his portions’.
Plans are on to release the movie on 8 July. Pudhusa Naan Porandhen has cinematography by Thomas and music by Ganesh Raja.
