Kamal Haasan’s yesteryear classic Nayakan will be screened at London Indian Film Festival to be held between 14 and 22 July.
Kamal Haasan will attend the festival , which will also feature films from Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka among others.
Nayagan was released in 1987, written and directed by Mani Ratnam, music by Ilaiyaraja.
It is loosely based on the real-life Bombay don Varadarajan Mudaliar and sympathetically depicts the struggle of South Indians living in Bombay.
The film also stars Saranya Ponvannan in her film debut.
