Superstar Rajinikanth who is holidaying in USA is said to resume shooting for his next 2.0 in August.
The actor who took a break after hectic shoot for Kabali is expected to be back in the city by the end of July.
Helmed by Shankar, the team is presently in Talakona, Andhra Pradesh to film few scenes with the other actors.
The movie is produced by Lyca Production and has Bollywood’s Akshay Kumar and Sonum Sodu playing the baddies.
Amy Jackson will be playing the female lead. AR Rahman is scoring the music for 2.o and cinematographer Nirav Shah is filming the entire movie in 3D technology.
Meanwhile, Rajinikanth’s upcoming movie Kabali awaiting censor and a release date is to be announced soon.
