After donning the hat of a filmmaker, Venkat Prabhu is now trying his hands at writing songs.
The director who is currently making the sequel of Chennai 28 will soon be debuting as the movie’s lyricist.
Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music for it. Sources say that there will be six songs in the album.
However, we are not sure, if Venkat Prabhu will be writing one or many songs in the flick. Chennai 28 part 2 is produced by Venkat Prabhu’s Black Ticket Company.
This movie too will revolve around a group of friends and their love for the game of cricket. It will also tackle issues springing up from their married and professional lives.
Most of the characters from the first part have been maintained by the makes. Jai, Shiva, Premji, Nithiin Sathya, Vijay Vasanth, Vaibhav and Sampath Raj are some of them.
