It all came as a surprise after superstar Rajinikanth, started following about 34 profiles in Twitter yesterday.
Among those who Rajinikanth followed were A R Rahman, Kamal Haasan, daughters Soundarya and Aishwarya, Dhanush, Kalaipuli S Thanu and Raju Mahalingam (Lyca), directors Shankar and Pa Ranjith.
Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan, the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and a string of news profiles.
However, sources close to the actor said that Rajinikanth’s twitter handle @superstarrajini was aparently hacked.
Within few hours, Rajinikanth’s daughter Aishwarya clarified, ‘@superstarrajini appa’s account was hacked..handle retrieved. Thank you all 🙂 #AllIsWell’.
All those accounts which the hacker had followed from the actor’s Id were unfollowed.
