After many ifs and buts, Dhanush starrer Thodai was recently sent to the censor board and has received a U.
The movie is to hit the screens on 22 September.
This news was confirmed by the movie’s hero Dhanush, he said, ‘#thodari has been censored with clean ‘U’.. SEPT 22 RELEASE #cantwait #soexcited #rollercoasterride my first release of 2016.’
Directed by Prabhu Solomon the movie has Keethy Suresh playing the female lead. It is produced by Sathyjothi Films, the entire movie is set in a moving train.
Keerthy will be seen as a makeup assistant to a leading actress in the film. The story is about how she falls in love with a pantry worker (Dhanush) during a train journey from Chennai to Delhi in Duronto express.
The film also stars Radha Ravi, Karunakaran, Harish Uthaman, Ganesh Venkatraman and Raja in side roles. Aparently, Thodai, is Dhanush’s first release for this year.
Sources say that post production work was the reason for all delays. It took more time, they added.
