Actor Vishal had to deactivate his twitter account following trolls about his stand on Jallikattu.
It may be recalled that the actor said that as a law-abiding citizen, he does not believe in criticizing the Supreme Court’s verdict.
Sources say the actor was unhappy with the hatred and abuses prevailing on the platform.
‘Vishal has decided to stay out of social networking sites. However as usual, he will be reachable for media and they can contact him at any time,’ said a source close to the actor. Actor Arya who tweeted ‘What is Jallikattu ?’ was also trolled.
Actress Trisha too had to deactive her Twitter and Facebook account after she was trolled and a fake poster announcing her death surfaced on social media.
Meanwhile, Vishal is currently busy with the shoot of Mysskin’s detective thriller Thupparivalan.
The actor also has Irumbu Thirai with Samantha in pipeline and the team is currently looking for an apt replacement for Arya, who opted out of the project as he is not comfortable to play the antagonist.
