The Theri pair, Vijay and Atlee, have kick started their next together with a formal pooja in Chennai today.
Vijay 61 is to be produced by Sri Thenanandal Films and the cast and crew of the movie was announced by the makers yesterday.
While Atlee is directing the flick, Kajal Agarwal and Samantha plays the female leads. Jyothika will be seen in a crucial role. SJ Suryah, Sathyaraj, Vadivelu and Sathyan will also be playing important characters.
Music will be by AR Rahman while Vijayendra Prasad, father of SS Rajamouli has written the screenplay.
Cinematography will be by GK Vishnu, editing by Ruben. Stunts will be take care of by Anal Arasu.
After completing the Chennai schedule, the team will be heading to North India, USA and European countries.
