There are two sets of filmmakers in Tamil cinema. One who would try to make movies to appease all sections of audience and another for a target audience. Perhaps Adhik Ravichandran belongs to the latter set. Ever since the day he started the film, he announced it is for young adults and does deliver it aplomb for them. It is an adult comedy and has double entendre and about women and wine told in a way that would go down well with target audience. A mix of S J Suryah and K Bhagiyaraj special, the movie has some enthralling moments too. G V Prakash thanks to his boyish looks fits the role well. Kayal Anandhi performs while Manisha Yadab oozes oomph factor. Add VTV Ganesh for humour and Simran for a special performance, that is Trisha Ilaena Nayanthara for you. The filmmaker is clear about his target and what to which section of audience he wants to address to. Certainly not for family crowd, TIN chronicles a boy’s love life. As Jeeva , G V Prakash does his best. He loves Ramya (Anandhi) and one word of him results in losing her love. But he comes across Aditi (Manisha Yadav) and another chapter of love starts., But that to ends prematurely. Now the virgin boy goes to Kumbakonam where he comes acrosss Ramya. What happens then forms the rest. Richard M Nathan’s camera is okay while GVP’s music is foot-tapping. A fun-ride for adult youngsters, TIN may draw their applause and whistles in theatres.
