Get set to welcome this Tamil Puttāndhu on April 14th, better known as Tamil New Year’s day, with Zee Tamil’s special line-up of programmes.
The channel that lays emphasis on offering a creative fare has attempted to come up with a mix of line-up that is different from the run-of-the-mill type of programmes seen elsewhere on such special occasions.
Among the string of programmes designed for the viewers’ delight are special chat shows.
The 10:00 am show will be featuring Bobby Simha, Nikki Galrani and Bala Saravanan. Interesting part is that while the cast share their experience on shooting for this movie they will also be shown some visuals, snapped during the shoot and asked to recollect their experience on it. Not only that, watch out for a surprise segment on them.
Will it be a complete entertainment without movies ?. At 11:00 am will be the World Television Premiere of Uppu Karuvadu, a super-hit comedy drama directed by Radha Mohan, starring Nandita and debutant Karunakaran. The film released on Nov 2015 received positive reviews from critics.
The 2:00 pm chat show will have actress Tamannaah on the sets, giving viewers a peek into little known facts about the actress, her real life persona, early life, career and a fun segment, enough to ensure fans are glued to their couches.
Not just that !. There is something for yet another sneak peek. Die-hard fans of Ilayathalapathy Vijay get to know about much awaited project Theri. This show to be telecast at 3pm, will cover some interesting facts and the audience’s expectation about the movie.
Last but not the least, the making of the blockbuster movie of Rajini Murugan called Making Rajini Murugan, a behind-the-scenes revealing everything you wanted to know about the making of the movie at 3:30 pm.
This will be followed by the actual movie itself at 4:30 pm, rounding off the special programmes for the day.
An innovation of sorts, where a programme on the making of the movie is immediately followed by the actual movie, making it a wholesome experience for the viewer on this special day.
