Vishal chose to address media at the open ground of Nadigar sangam on Monday.
He said, ‘We worked hard and we won the elections. I should thank all actors, actresses, drama artistes who kept faith in us and voted for us’.
I am very emotional as I stand in the place for which I was fighting for the past few years, he said.
Asked about his plan to come up with a new building for Nadigar Sangam, Vishal, said, ‘We fought to constrict our own building. This minute we have started our work. It will be raised soon’.
When asked what is his first priority as general secretary of Nadigar Sangam, Vishal said, ‘the economically backward drama artistes should get what they deserve.
Ensuring all-round development in their lives would be my priority.
We will create a data base of all members and will reach out the needy in quick time’.
