Veteran actress Sachu, who was denied voting in the Nadigar Sangam elections last Sunday allegedly for not renewing her membership was presented with a life membership card by the the newly-elected office-bearers of the association.
It may be recalled that Sachu had alleged that the previous management purposely cancelled her membership and acted with vendetta.
Meanwhile president of Nadigar Sangam Nasser said that efforts are on to convene the general body meeting of the association at the earliest.
He said, ‘The date will be finalised soon. We are inviting Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan among all top actors’.
He said invitations would be sent to all 3139 members of the association including the previous office-bearers of Nadigar Sangam.
