Playing a cop’s role is a delight and adream for all actor.
From MGR to Rajini to Kamal to Sivakarthikeyan, movies starring the hero as a upright police officer have always made it big. The success does elevates them to a mass hero.
Both Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan have done a few in the past.
Even the younger brigade like Suriya (Khaakha Khaakha, SIngam), Ajith (Mankatha), Vikram (Saamy) have made it big with such movies. Young Sivakarthikeyan did it with Kaaki sattai.
Now joining the list is Vijay Sethupathi. His next Sethupathi releasing this Friday features him in the role of a honest cop.
Directed by Arun Kumar, the movie speaks about a honest police officer and his escapades.
After huge hit in Nanum Rowdy Thaan, Vijay Sethupathi’s stakes are high and hopefully the movie would make it big and help him join the big league of stars.
