Actor and general secretary of Nadigar Sangam Vishal has put to rest all rumours of rift in the association.
After a section of media reported that there is growing discomfort between Nadigar Sangam office-bearers, Vishal tweeted, ‘Split n our #nadigar sangam team? ya rite.U bet u can ? Dis team Wil stay as fmly n work 4 da members n da building til it’s accomplished GB’
It was reported that ever since the recent General Body meeting of the association that took place at Loyola College, the office-bearers are not seeing eye-to-eye on various issues.
It was also reported that a few members who fought for the success of Pandavar Ani comprising Vishal, Nassar, Karthi, Ponvannan and Karunas were sidelined and hence the rift broke out.
A senior member of the Nadigar Sangam said, ‘there may be difference of opinion on certain issues, but no fight. All of us are committed towards constructing a building for the sangam’.
‘Our focus is to successfully conduct star cricket match in Chennai this April to generate funds well’.
