‘I have never planned to have so many releases in one year. It just happened’, said actor Vijay Sethupathi.
Speaking at the audio launch of his forthcoming release Rekka, Vijay Sethupathi, said, ‘This year I have had Sethupathi, Ka Ka Po, Iraivi, Dharmadurai and Andavan Katalai releasing. I thank my fans for making the movies success’.
His next Rekka is directed by Rathinasiva and features Lakshmi Menon opposite him.
Rathinasiva, said, ‘I thank Vijay Sethupathi for the trust he kept in me and my script. It is a mass theme and audience would love it’.
Speaking on the occasion, Imman, said, ‘The movie has shaped up well. It is pacy and racy’.
K S Ravikumar, who plays Vijay Sethupathi’s father in the movie says, ‘He is a rising star and the only for me to be part of Rekka is to act with him’.
Actor Sathish, producers T Siva, Kathiresan, director Maghizh Thirumeni also spoke on the occasion.
A trailer and couple of songs were also screened on the occasion.
