There are speculations that there might be some foul play in lyricist Annamalai who passed away due to cardiac arrest yesterday.
Doctors spotted head injuries and hence suggested that an autopsy be conducted to clarify any doubts. His family members reportedly agreed.
Annamalai had writrten songs for several films including Vijsy starrer Velayudham, Vettaikkaran among others.
He has just 49 and is survived by his wife and a four-year-old daughter.
Music director and actor Vijay Antony tweeted, “I am not able to imagine my future without you Annamalai Sir. RIP.”
