Thani Oruvan is a thriller also features Nayanthara and Arvindh Swami in important roles.
Ravi had acted in M Kumaran Son Of Mahalakshmi, Unakkum Enakkum, Santhosh Subramaniam and Thillalangadi, all of which have been directed by his brother, M Raja.
