After a good show in Goli Soda, filmmaker Vijay Milton is out in full throttle with 10 Endrathukulla. Produced by Fox Star and A R Murugadoss Productions, the movie is a racy road show that begins in Chennai and ends in Uttarakhand with no twists and turns. Vikram plays a bravado car driver whose skills behind the wheels are unmatched. Samantha who is part of his journey does deliver her best. Vikram is a daredevil driver who agrees to ferry illegal goods for money to meet the medical expenses of his ailing sister. He doesn’t reveal his name in the film and he is called as James Bond or Mani Ratnam by all. He meets Shakeela (Samantha) to whom he is entrusted with the job of teaching driving. There is a goon Dass (Pasupathy), who takes the help of Vikram to reach a car from Chennai to Uttarakhand. He doesn’t inform him that Shakeela is kidnapped and kept unconscious in the car has to be delivered along with the vehicle. At one stage, Vikram realises the whole idea of Doss and he falls in love with Shakeela. On reaching Uttarakhand, his mission begins to save Shakeela. How he achieves it forms the rest. Besides Vikram and Samantha, Rahul Dev and Pasupathy steal the show with a good show. The first half is racy and entertaining. However the latter part meanders in the form of twists. There are plots and sub-plots and 10 Endrathukulla which begins in top speed slowly loses its sheen as it progresses. Music by D Imman is loud but Vikram fans will enjoy the same. 10 Endrathukulla is more a curate’s egg failed to attract the movie goers.
