Comedy is the toast of the season. One more in the list is Nanum Rowdy Dhaan. After a mediocre outing in Poda Podi, filmmaker Vignesh Sivan is back with a simple love story loaded with humour and simple dialogues. Interestingly the movie is produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films and there are enough in it to make one laugh out loud. After a brief interval, Vijay Sethupathi is in his elements to engage audience. Besides Vijay Sethupathi, the movie stars Nayanthara. Parthiban, Raadhika Sarathkumar, RJ Balaji, Anandaraj with music is by Anirudh, George C Williams handling camera and Sreekar Prasad as editor. The catch of the movie is that Vignesh Sivan has chosen to keep the dialogues simple and down-to-earth. The events unfold in an interesting manner and the twists and turns make an interetsing watch. The movie revolves around Pondy Pandi played by Vijay Sethupathi, who years to become a rowdy. Nayantara plays the character of a hearing-impaired girl. The other central point of the movie is Parthiban and Radika Sarath Kumar’s stupendous show. Anirudh’s music is engaging and entertaining. The racy show is sure to appease masses and the funny elements will strike chord with masses.
