Actor Vikram who is shooting for Irumugan will simultaneously work on his next Garuda.
Written and directed by Thiru, the movie will have Kajal Agarwal play his love interest. She will don the role of a rural girl.
The filmmaker has promised that the movie will be a full mass entertainment in the lines of Saamy.
A huge set has been erected in Sri Perumbudur for the shoot, which is to begins on 1 April.
Garuda will be produced by Silverline Film Factory and will have Bolllywood filmmaker and actor Mahesh Majrekar play the antagonist. Music is by Girinandh and cinematography by Richard M Nathan.
Meanwhile, Vikram is trying to wrap up Irumugan which has Nayanthara playing the female lead.
It is directed by Arima Nambi fame Aravind Shankar and music is by Harris Jeyaraj.
