Marudhu starring Vishal and Sri Divya is hitting the screen on 20 May, next weekend.
A rural theme, the director Muthiah says the movie will be promises to be entertaining and engaging.
Talk about her role in the movie which is set in a village, Sri Dhivya says, “I play the role of Bhagyalakshmi, a timid girl who loves her family. It is strikingly different from my other films. When director Muthiah narrated the story to me, I decided not to let it go.’
This is also the first time that the actress is sharing the screen with Vishal. She says, ‘He is a nice co-star and a good human being. Acting with him was a delight. We shot a major portion of the movie in Rajapalayam.
To play a homely girl was a challenge. And Vishal gave me few tips. In spite of his busy schedule as general secretary of Nadigar Sangam, he chose to give his best for Marudhu.”
