In a shocking incident, that took may from the film industry by surprise is the news that managing partner of Vendhar Movies S Madhan, has gone missing.
Search is on at Varanasi, after the producer left a note and went absconding yesterday from the city. In the letter, which is widely circulated in social media, states that Madhan was going to Kasi and that he was planning to attain his Samadhi (end his life by drowning in river Ganga) there.
Vendhar Movies, named after head of SRM Group of Institutions Parivendhar, had Madhan as managing partner. Vendhar Movies produced, released and distributed several films.
The letter hints at a misunderstanding between Parivendhar and Madhan. Sources close to the production house say that loses suffered after failures of their movies led to strained relationship between Parivendhar and Madhan.
Madhan had written in the letter that those who have given him money for admission at SRM Group of Institutions can get it back from the management. He has stated that he worked hard for the group and aspired it to become the number one institution.
Madhan further wrote that their next production venture Motta Siva Ketta Siva starring Lawrence Raghavendra should release without any hassle.
