Kollywood producers and directors continue their search for quirky titles. And in that bid, a debutante Kumaresh Kumar has opted for one – Aangila Padam meaning English movie.
The movie stars Ramki, Sanjeev and Meenakshi and is produced by MJR Vasuki under RJ Media Creations. Cinematography is by Sai Sathish and music is by MC Riko.
The audio of the movie was launched in a gala manner in Chennai in which veteran film personalities Radharavi, R V Uthayakumar, Perarasu and cinematographer-actor Natty among others attended.
On his part, Radharavi, said, ‘small and medium-budget movies are essential for the survival of the industry. Padam features Ramki in salt n pepper looks and it suits him well’.
Speaking on the occasion, Uthayakumar, said, ‘ Tamil music composers should ensure that encourage lyricists who use Tamil words. They should not spoil the beauty of the language by using English words in their songs’.
