Even as the news of star couple, Kamal and Gautami, split could sink in, Kamal Haasan has come out with his statement.
The actor said that he welcomes Gautami’s decision of ending the relationship. He added that he would welcome whatever gives peace to Gautami and considers Subbulakshmi, daughter of Gauthami as his own.
‘Whatever gives her comfort and solace is fine by me. My feelings at the moment are of no importance. What matters is that Gautami and Subbu should be comfortable and happy.
I wish them all the best and want them to know I am there for them whenever they need me. I am blessed with three daughters — Shruti, Akshara and Subbulakshmi. I consider myself the luckiest father in the world,’ Kamal said in a statement.
Kamal and Gautami have been living together for nearly 13 years. The sudden separation has come as a big shock for everyone.
