It was reported that Madras fame Catherine Tresa was to play the female lead in choreographer-director-producer Prabhudeva’s next, Yung Mung Sung.
Now the buzz is that she has been replace by Lakshmi Menon.
This will be the second movie for Prabhudeva after Devi(l) in his comeback to Tamil movies.
The flick will be directed by a newcommer Arjun, who is an associate of Director Ram of Mundasupatti fame. Yung Mung Sung is said to be a comedy entertainer that deals with martial arts.
The movie is set in the 1970s and 80s period. Prabhu Deva will play a Kung Fu master, Thangar Bachan will don the role of his father. RJ Balaji will play his friend.
Lakshmi Menon will play a village girl, who is also a Bharatanatyam dancer. The release of the cast and crew are to be announced soon.
The movie’s pooja held yesterday at Chennai in a simple way.
