Anjala, directed by Thangam Saravanan, is about the struggle of a middle-aged man to keep his century-old tea shop in a village from being removed for widening the road.
Produced by stunt master Dilip Subbarayan, the movie stars Pasupathy, Vemal, Nandhitha, Aadukalam Murugadoss, R V Uthayakumar and Ritvika among others.
Music is by Gopi Sundar and cinematography by Ravi Kannan.
Sources say that Pasupathy’s role has come good and he would win laurels for his stupendous performance.
