Veteran actor Kumarimuthu, known for his unique manner of laughing, passed away late on Sunday, in a Chennai hospital where he was admitted for treatment. He was 77.
His last film was Vijay-starrer Villu and he was since actively involved in the affairs of the Nadigar Sangam and was subsequently removed by the previous dispensation headed by R Sarath Kumar.
Kumarimuthu has been in the industry since 1978 and had acted in over 500 movies.
