After lots of debate and options, Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi has been roped in to play the villain in Thala Ajith next.
Directed by Siva of Veeram and Vedalam fame, Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan play the female lead.
Initially sources said that Abhishek Bachchan would be donning the role, however, officials sources now say that Vivek Oberoi will be the baddie in AK 57. The team is in Hyderabad for the next schedule.
Sources say almost 25 per cent of the film has been wrapped up. Sathya Jyothi Films is bankrolling the project and music is by Anirudh Ravichander.
Said to be an urban-centric movie, the crew will be at the famous Ramoji Rao film city this week. Siruthai Siva has also penned the story.
