Director Venkat Prabhu who was shooting back to back for his upcoming flick Chennai 28 – Second Innings has called it a wrap.
The movie is now all set to move to the editing table. The flick is produced by Venkat Prabhu under the banner Black Ticket Company.
The team recently had a grand audio launch in Singapore. Music is by Yuvanshankar Raja.
Most of the characters from the first part have been maintained by the makes. Jai, Shiva, Premji, Nithiin Sathya, Vijay Vasanth, Vaibhav and Sampath Raj are some of them.
However there is a new addition in the form of Mahat Raghavendra of Mankatha fame. He plays a mute character from Madurai.
Speaking about the movie, director Venkat Prabhu says, ‘One batsman can leave a rocket in the very first ball of the match and that too in the test match… He is none other than Virendar Sehwag… We feel immense pleasure to wrap our shoot on his birthday (October 20)….
The whole cricket fans will go crazy when he hits the ball to six, and we are quite sure that our Chennai 28 II will drive the Tamil Audience crazy by it huge sixer called ‘Friendship’.
