It is almost a wrap for Dhanush’s directorial debut Power Paandi. The movie is in the last stages of shooting.
This was confirmed by the movie’s director Dhanush, who wrote, ‘Power paandi last 5 days shoot 🙂 #dd1 #directormode #april142017release.’ The movie will hit the screens on 14 April this year.
Power Paandi stars veteran actor Rajkiran in the role of a stuntman. Prasanna and Chaya Singh are playing supporting roles.
The flick is bankrolled by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films. Music will be by Sean Roldon and the audio is expected to be out soon.
Camera is by Velraj. Power Paandi revolves around the lives of stuntmen.
The movie has director Gautham Vasudev Menon playing a special cameo. Apart from directing, Dhanush will also be playing an extended cameo in this flick.
Sources say he will play a younger version of Rajkiran, who is the protagonist.
